Pantone® Universe

I was invited to contribute to Pantone® Universe Colorwear at Art Basel 2014, held at Lulu Laboratorium in Miami Beach, Florida. This project entailed developing a capsule T-shirt collection, executing a wall painting, and delivering a live performance, all centered on the Pantone 2015 Color of the Year: Marsala 18-1438

Overview

Concept & Outcome

I embraced Marsala’s rich, warm, and dramatic tone—its deep wine-inspired hue—as the unifying visual thread. Through expressive mural painting and dynamic performance, I translated the emotional depth and earthy elegance of Marsala into immersive, tactile color experiences. Simultaneously, the capsule collection acted as wearable art—each T-shirt echoing the hue’s sophisticated vibrancy.
